George J. Johnson
Of Derby, NY entered into rest March 6, 2015 at age 71. George is the loving husband of Jean Marie Pauley-Johnson, dearest father of Christopher (Tammy) Pauley; grandfather of Christopher and Brittany. Son of the late Adam and Sophie Johnson. George is also survived by his cousin and BFF Norton Baum, cousins Elizabeth Jurczak and Frank (Beverly) Hersek, dear friends Leroy Rogers, Midnight and Einstein. At Age 18 George owned his own Auto Service Station in Kenmore, NY, was former owner of the Blue Lamp Motel in Irving , NY and was a retired welder /fabricator with Dunlop, Tonawanda, NY. He enjoyed hunting, fishing , working with his tractor and was a passionate supporter of cat rescue organizations. Memorials in Georges memory may be made to the Almost Home Animal Sanctuary, Little Valley, NY. Family will be present to receive friends Saturday from 7-9 PM and Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the ADDISON FUNERAL HOME, INC. 262 N. Main St. Angola, NY where Prayers will be said Monday at 9:15 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10AM in St. John Paul II Parish, Lake View, NY.
