I enjoyed getting to know Doc when I was pastor at First Church and then when I became his pastor at Holy Cross. He was a dedicated individual to his village of Angola and Holy Cross. My thoughts and prayers are with all his family and friends.
Uncle Doc, your gentle spirit will be missed very much. A man is not measured by his earthly belongings but by the love he is shown by his family and friends. You were obviously a great man, because you are loved very much. You are in a much better place and finally with Aunt Christine, George and Louise. I will never forget you.
Doc will be missed by many. He was a great man who did accomplish much, in his long life & always was an optimist, with a great sense of humor. Rest, Doc.
